Today, at the 2011 CES (Consumer Electronics Show) in Las Vegas, Nvidia announces a partnership with BMW to ability the graphics in all of its infotainment systems.

The iDrive Navigation arrangement in newer BMWs already features rich 3D maps, but the Nvidia GPU is expected to ameliorate rendering speed. Nvidia says its GPU will enable 1280×600 resolution graphics in BMW's next generation infotainment system which nosotros expect to see in the upcoming 1 and 3 Series models due to be unveiled later on this year.
